About Eric P.

Executive Leadership & Strategic Counsel

Eric P. Whittleton is the President of Tychon, a cybersecurity company founded by former U.S. Department of Defense experts that provides enterprise endpoint visibility, cryptographic discovery, and post-quantum readiness solutions to federal agencies and commercial organizations. Under his leadership, Tychon has partnered with HCLSoftware, joined the NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence’s post-quantum cryptography consortium, and is actively helping federal agencies meet mandated quantum-readiness deadlines.

Eric’s career spans more than 36 years of C-level leadership in information technology and cybersecurity. He began as a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems in 1986, rose through progressively senior roles at INTECS International, Information Systems Support (where he grew the company from $850K to $213M in revenue and 1,100 employees before its acquisition by CACI), served as Executive Vice President at CACI International managing a $165M P&L and 960 employees, and led Allied Technology Group as President and CEO. He holds a B.S. in Biology and a Post-Baccalaureate in Management Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University, plus a Certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management from Harvard.

As BRIM’s Board Advisor, Eric brings his executive network, deep government contracting expertise, and hands-on operational insight to support the firm’s strategic growth, technology infrastructure, and client relationships — providing the kind of board-level counsel that accelerates a firm’s evolution from emerging to institutional.
