This calculator is for illustrative purposes only and does not constitute investment advice or a guarantee of future results. Projected returns use historical CAGR figures from BRIM's proprietary SMA strategies, computed from the full available history (backtested performance from January 7, 2008 through each strategy's live inception date, plus actual live performance thereafter), pulled live from BRIM's master database. Live inception dates: Innovation SMA — March 24, 2020; Growth SMA — April 14, 2022; Core SMA — March 23, 2021; Low Volatility SMA — April 16, 2021. Projections assume constant annual growth rates and do not reflect actual market volatility or sequence-of-returns risk. Past performance is not indicative of future results. All investments involve risk, including the potential loss of principal. Strategy CAGR rates shown are gross of fees by default. When “Deduct Advisory Fee” is toggled on, the net-of-fee CAGR is computed by replaying the full daily gross return history with the advisory fee deducted using a quarterly average-daily-balance methodology: each quarter, the fee equals the average daily portfolio balance multiplied by the annual fee rate divided by four, deducted at quarter-end. The resulting net CAGR is then used for forward projections and displayed on each strategy card. The advisory fee is not applied to the S&P 500, which is modeled as a passive buy-and-hold benchmark with no advisory relationship. Tax drag represents the estimated percentage of annual gains realized as short-term taxable income: 35% for the Innovation SMA (higher turnover) and 15% for Growth, Core, and Low Volatility SMAs. Tax drag does not apply to the S&P 500 (modeled as buy-and-hold with unrealized gains). Federal tax brackets are based on 2025 IRS marginal rates per IRS Rev. Proc. 2024-40. Actual results will vary. Consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
