Strategy Overview
Strategy Overview
Investment Objective

The Equity Core SMA seeks to deliver substantial long-term capital appreciation by concentrating capital in a focused portfolio of 20–25 publicly traded companies at the forefront of technological innovation. The strategy is designed for investors with a high risk tolerance and a long-term investment horizon who seek to meaningfully outperform the S&P 500 over rolling market cycles — accepting higher short-term volatility in exchange for significantly greater upside potential.

Investment Philosophy

BRIM’s Core strategy targets the backbone of the global economy — blue-chip companies with durable competitive advantages, consistent 12–15% revenue growth, strong free cash flow, and market-leading positions across multiple sectors. The portfolio is broadly diversified across technology, financials, healthcare, consumer, and industrials, actively managed to balance growth potential with downside protection.

Target Sectors

Technology & Software

Established tech leaders across semiconductors, cloud platforms, enterprise software, and digital advertising with proven business models.

Financial Services

Leading banks, exchanges, payment networks, and financial data providers with strong moats and recurring revenue streams.

Healthcare

Diversified healthcare companies spanning insurance, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices with recession-resistant demand.

Consumer & Retail

Market-dominant consumer brands and retailers with pricing power, scale advantages, and consistent earnings growth.

Industrials & Defense

Critical infrastructure, aerospace, and defense companies with long-duration government contracts and stable cash flows.

Media & Entertainment

Scaled content and streaming platforms with expanding subscriber bases, strong IP libraries, and growing advertising revenue.
